Thanksgiving Dinner 2014

Since Thanksgiving is not recognised here in Tonga most of us did not have the day off of our work, so we moved our dinner to Friday night, November 28, 2014.  It was one of the best meals we have had since we arrived in Tonga.  After dinner we had our movie night at the Mission Office for our first Christmas show.  They showed "It's a Wonderful Life", we all enjoyed it.  Following is a few pictures of our Thanksgiving Dinner that was held in a big room in the Liahona High school service center.

Now this is a feast that we can live with!  These are the dentist here on Liahona and Vava'u, from left to right - Elder and Sister Beckstrand and Dr. and Sister Lorenz. Dr. and Sister Lorenz are not missionaries.  He just volunteers to come her every year for 3-4 months and do dentist work here in Tonga.

Some of the Senior Missionaries

From left to right - Elder and Sister Holbrook, Elder and Sister Wood, and Elder and Sister Moon.  These people make it possible to make it through the week at times.  They bring much joy and laughter into our lives!
