More Sights Around Tongatapu

Here are a few more sights that we see almost everyday on our way to our office in down town Nuku'alofa.  Hope you enjoy them.  The drive is very beautiful as you will see and very interesting.
This is the road we usually take to our office in downtown Nuku'alofa.  To the left of the trees is the ocean.

When the tied is out the "Fishing Pigs" come out and dig for clams and anything else in the mud.  They are very interesting to watch.

This is a fish trap that the Tongans set up to catch their fish.  The long fence covered with fish net leads the fish into the corral that has fish net all around it.  When the tied goes out the fish cannot get out and the fishermen gather their catch.  I think maybe Elder Murdock might be able to catch a fish this way!

This is what a lot of the Tongans wear on their heads to keep the sun off of them.  We have seen men with some pretty bright colored shirts on their heads or they might be carrying pink umbrellas.  This man is at the fair that we go to on Saturdays.

This is another part of the road.  It is so beautiful on this road.  A lot of small farm fields.

This is what 80% of the female dogs look like here in Tonga.  We thought the animal lovers of the family would want to see this.  It is pretty sad.  They look as if they are starving and yet still feeding pups.
Here are some more of the "Fishing Pigs" on the beach.  You can see some of the fishermen boats in the back ground.  They just anchor them and when the low tied comes they are pretty much sitting on beach.
